1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of TypeClue ("we"), an independent project run by a sole proprietor. By using the service you accept these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Acceptable Use Policy.

2. The service

We provide free personality tests, results, educational content and optional paid AI-generated reports. The service is for self-reflection and entertainment-education only. It is not a psychological, medical or diagnostic assessment, and it isn't professional, hiring or relationship advice. We are not affiliated with the Enneagram Institute, 16Personalities or any other test publisher. Third-party names are used only to describe and compare.

3. Eligibility

You must be 16 or older to save results or buy reports.

4. Acceptable use

You must follow our AUP. In particular, you must not use results to label, screen or discriminate against anyone (for example in hiring), and you must not scrape the service or automate test-taking.

5. Intellectual property

Our questions, scoring, text, design and reports are protected. You may share your own result and personal report for non-commercial use, keeping the "AI-generated" label. You may quote short extracts with a link. You may not copy the question banks or republish pages in bulk.

6. Paid reports

Products (prices are shown before checkout):
- Deep Report: $9.90
- Couples/Compare Report: $14.90 (all participants must consent)
- Complete bundle: $19.90
Delivery: reports are AI-generated, automatically moderated and usually delivered within minutes. If moderation holds a report, we review it within 72 hours or refund you.
Accuracy: reports may contain errors.

7. Payments

Payments are processed by Waffo, our merchant of record and the seller of record for your purchase. Waffo handles payment, sales tax/VAT and invoicing, and its name may appear on your statement. Waffo's terms also apply to the payment.

8. Refunds

You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing support@typeclue.com or using Waffo's customer portal.
If a report fails to generate, or is held by moderation and not released within 72 hours, you get a full refund.
Refunds go to the original payment method. Orders with an open chargeback can't also be refunded.
EU/UK consumers: at checkout you agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge that your statutory withdrawal right for digital content ends once delivery begins. Our voluntary 14-day refund policy still applies.
Nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights.

9. Availability

We may change or discontinue features. Purchased reports stay accessible for at least 12 months, or you will be given a download.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". Results are simplified models of personality and may be inaccurate. Don't rely on them for important decisions about yourself or others.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect losses. This doesn't limit liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

12. Third-party services

Waffo, Cloudflare and our AI and email providers operate under their own terms. We aren't responsible for their acts.

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate us for losses caused by your breach of these terms or the AUP.

14. Termination

We may suspend your access if you breach these terms. You can stop using the service and delete saved results at any time.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's place of residence, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally.

16. General

If any provision is unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms, the Privacy Policy and the AUP are the entire agreement between us. We may transfer this agreement to a successor operator of the service. Not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver of it.

17. Changes

We may update these terms. We post the new version with its date, and continued use means you accept it.
