How TypeClue handles your data: anonymous test results, no IP storage, no data selling, and your rights.

1. Summary
- You can take our personality tests (Enneagram, attachment style, Big Five) without an account.
- Results are stored under a random ID. We don't store your IP address with them and don't build profiles of you.
- We never sell data and don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- You can delete a saved result at any time.
- Our tests are for self-reflection only. They are not psychological or medical assessments, and we don't treat your answers as health data.
2. Who we are
The data controller is the operator of TypeClue, an independent project run by a sole proprietor. Contact: support@typeclue.com (subject: Privacy).
3. What we collect and why

We don't make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
4. AI reports
If you buy a report, your scores and answers (not your email) are sent to our AI model provider to generate it. The provider acts as our processor and may not use the data to train models. Reports are labelled "AI-generated".
5. Sharing
We share data only with processors: Cloudflare (hosting, database, storage); Waffo, our merchant of record (payments, tax, invoices, refunds; we never see card details); our email provider; and our AI model provider. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
6. International transfers
Where processors handle data outside the EEA or UK, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary storage. If we ever add analytics, it will be cookieless and aggregate, or we will ask for your consent first.
8. Your rights
You can access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You can delete a result with the delete link on the result page. For anything else, email us with your result ID. You can also complain to your data protection authority. US residents: we don't sell or share personal information. California residents may exercise their CCPA/CPRA rights through the same contact.
9. Children
Our services are for people aged 16 and over. If we learn that we hold data from a child under 16 without appropriate consent, we will delete it.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and separate tables for identifiers and answers. If a data breach affects you, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
11. Changes
We post updates here with a new date, and highlight significant changes on the site.
