TypeClue editorial team · Updated 2026-10-18 · For self-exploration_Last updated: 2026-10-18. This document was prepared from common website-policy structures (e.g. those used by free generators such as Termly and TermsFeed) and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It is not legal advice._
This policy applies to everyone using TypeClue, including tests, results, share, guess and compare features, feedback forms and AI-generated reports. It is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Prohibited content
You may not submit, generate, request or share through the service: 1. sexual or pornographic content; 2. violence, threats, incitement, or glorification of violent extremism; 3. hate speech that attacks people based on protected characteristics; 4. child sexual abuse material or any sexualisation of minors (we report this to authorities); 5. deepfakes or impersonation of real people or organisations, including fabricated quotes; 6. content that infringes intellectual property, including uploading third-party test items or reports.
2. Misuse of results
- Don't use results to label, screen, harass or discriminate against anyone, for example in hiring, admissions or housing.
- Don't present results as clinical or diagnostic.
- Don't make anyone take a test or compare results without their consent.
- Don't scrape the service, automate test-taking, or collect other people's results.
3. AI-generated content
- Reports are labelled "AI-generated". Don't remove that label when sharing.
- Don't try to manipulate the AI, for example through prompt injection in nicknames or feedback, to produce prohibited content.
4. Moderation
- Inputs: all free-text inputs (nicknames, feedback, reports, contact) are length-limited and screened automatically. Text that fails screening is rejected, and user free text never enters report prompts.
- Outputs: every AI report is checked automatically before it is shown. Reports that fail go to human review within 24–72 hours, and are released, corrected or refunded.
5. Enforcement
Depending on severity, we may remove content, block features, delete results, refuse service, cancel orders (with a refund where required), and report illegal content to authorities.
6. Reporting
- Use the Report link on any result or report page, the form at /report-abuse, or email support@typeclue.com with the subject "Abuse report".
- We acknowledge reports within 72 hours and don't reveal the reporter's identity.
- You can appeal a decision by replying to our notice.
7. Changes
We post updates here with a new date.
